In the Upside Downs

Photo by Lucas Pezeta on Pexels.com

Here I hang from a limb
in the upside down
one leg bent
one foot bound

Suspended from wisdom
though clearly life’s clown
helpless, hopeless yet
happiness abounds

Apparently in difficulty
strength can be found
relax into uncertainty—poof!
and clarity rebounds

No swords, wands, pentacles
nor even the hierophant’s crown
instead I hold peace as
my change falls to the ground
